Christopher Rodgers

Christopher is a son, husband and father of two girls, who has a passion to grab life with its many trails and create environments that breathe life. He loves spending time with family and enjoys creating memories that will last a lifetime. With his drive for overcoming and stepping outside of the norm, Christopher has helped many customers all over the world in creating custom mobility solutions that involved technologies like IoT, MDM, and WWAN services. He is the co-founder (along with wife Sonya) and president of Building Legacies Inc. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree from McMurry University. Christopher has  over 15 years experience of mentoring, training, and assisting young people with their dreams, visions and goals. His passion is to see this younger generation become the successful leaders that they were born to become. 

Sonya Rodgers

Sonya is a graduate from the Univeristy of Dallas with a Bachelors Degree in Pshychology, a business owner and runs an organization of 280 members from the United States, Canada, and Mexico. She is a wife, mother of 2 beautiful girls ages 10 & 7 whom she homeschools. She also works outside the home as an Administrative Assistant at Grace Covenant Academy. Even though homeschooling and their jobs take up a lot of our time, she know it's not their sole purpose in life.  Her family has a heart for children, particularly at risk youth.  After serving in outreach ministry for 11 years she stepped out in faith (along with Chris) and began a  501 (c)3 non-profit organization.  They founded Building Legacies Inc in July of 2012 were she also serves as secretary. Building Legacies is geared toward helping kids who live in low income communities and are considered at-risk.  They provide training in character development and leadership, spiritual guidance and mentoring as well as teaching life skills to prepare them for their future.  It's her desire to see this next generation rise up from their circumstances and live their lives with purpose on purpose. 

Our family is committed to seeing people saved, healed and set free from those strongholds that fight to keep them down. Our goal is to see families living in wellness, purpose and abundance.

Sam Grissom

Sam is the treasurer of Building Legacies Inc. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from DeVry University. He has 23 years experience of coaching and mentoring youth with Dallas Parks and Recreation and the Dallas Housing Authority. His vision is to see youth in the community grow into future leaders as they are taught spiritual and social values. Sam is married and the father of two teenage girls.He and his family have been members of Covenant Church for 14 years.
